Frequently Asked Questions
Does your platform perform engineering work?
No. This platform provides project intake, coordination, and referral services. All engineering services are performed by licensed engineers or firms in our network. We do not stamp drawings, perform calculations, or provide engineering directly.
How quickly will I hear back after submitting a project?
We review every submission within 48 business hours. You'll receive an acknowledgment email immediately, followed by a detailed response from our coordination team outlining next steps and estimated timelines for engineer matching.
Are the engineers in your network actually licensed?
Yes. Every engineer in our network holds a valid California professional engineering license. We verify license status with the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists (BPELSG) before onboarding.
What does the free facility review include?
The free review includes an initial assessment of your project description, identification of required engineering disciplines, a preliminary scope outline, and matching with 1-3 licensed engineers who specialize in your project type.
How do I know which engineering disciplines I need?
You don't need to figure that out yourself. Based on your project description and facility type, our team identifies the disciplines required — mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, plumbing, fire protection — and matches accordingly.
What happens if the matched engineer isn't the right fit?
We match you with multiple engineers for most projects so you can compare approaches and proposals. If none are a fit, we continue searching our network until we find the right match at no additional cost.
Is there a cost to use the platform?
Project submission, review, and engineer matching are free for clients. Our fees are typically structured as a referral or coordination fee paid by the engineer, not by you as the client.
Do you handle all of California?
Yes. Our network covers all regions of California from San Diego to the North Coast, Central Valley to the Bay Area. Engineers are matched based on both expertise and geographic proximity to your facility.
